Description : When I looked at this pendant necklace and earring set, I imagined the story of where and what it would take to get that many 1/2mm round seed pearls to any destination on earth in 1870. Their journey is the one that tells the history of this unusual set. The pieces have the feeling of a dreamy afternoon in Tuscany. The approximately 40mm round pendant is crafted with textured wire details around the black onyx. The grapes are represented with white pearls of the most mysterious provenance. Faceted onyx oval elongated beads are strung with round, 18KY gold beads. The curl of the grapevine is alive nearly 155 years later. The earrings are oval in shape, post style, and are approximately 25mm long by 15mm wide. This 18" necklace and earring set is an absolute show stopper, and a conversation starter.
