Turn of the Century Silver with Gold wash, Chinese turquoise, and blue enamel, Parure set

Description : A parure is a set of jewelry intended to be worn together. To find all these pieces, including the necklace, bracelet, clip earrings, pin and adjustable ring is nothing short of a miracle. This set is in extraordinary condition, as the hand wire wrapped forms hold multiple turquoise cabochons ranging in size from 28mmx22mm in the center of the necklace down to 18mmx14mm in the earrings. Gold washing silver was a technique that was done by dipping or burnishing the silver with a very thin coating of gold. The gold on this set is still intact. The turquoise is brilliant blue, with very little matrix, and in pristine condition.The 5 petaled flowers that adorn the perimeter of all of these pieces look to be the 'forget-me-not', created in the traditional cloisonne technique with a china blue enamel and small gold center. This is a once in a lifetime, extremely rare find.
